Interview & 2 book giveaways for Margaret Ethridge

What a year this has been for Margaret Ethridge!

·         At Christmas time Margaret was featured in a romance anthology by Turquoise Morning Press titled “Believe” which The Romance Reviews nomineed as one of the Best Books of 2010. Believe was where we were first introduced to her lovable couple Jack and Ellie.

·         Shortly thereafter in January her first stand-alone published book, Paramour, was released.  Another Look Book Reviews was happy to contribute to Paramour’s 5 heart ratings here!

·         In the same month, Margaret treated her fans who wanted more of Jack and Ellie so a FREE  read on her website www.margaretethridge.com. A nice little New Year’s story to tide us over.

·         Not even a month after the release of her first published book, Margaret was featured in another Turquoise Morning Press anthology, “Be Mine, Valentine”. Once again her fans were treated to a humorous update to the Jack and Ellie storyline.

·         That brings us just to March and did she rest? Nope, another FREE read on her website to give us a St Paddy’s day snippet of Jack and Ellie.

Are we done yet? Nope!

·         The All Bets Are On! anthology was released in May which is a collection of Kentucky Derby themed short stories. Margaret’s Going the Distance once again featured our favourite couple Jack and Ellie as we get to peak a bit further into their growing relationship.

·         Didn’t get enough of Jack and Ellie in All Bets are On! Wanted a little bit more? Well that’s where Margaret’s ebook The Feeling is Pari-Mutuel comes in. Fans get to spend a bit more time with our favourite long distance couple.

Margaret! I am out of breath reading your publishing activities this past year.
Thanks for having me here! I’m so happy to have a chance to talk to your readers. I hope you don’t mind if I lie here and rest while we chat...

All those exciting stories in just less than a ½ a year.  What an accomplishment! I’m not even done yet. The reason I begged asked for an interview with you was to talk about what I consider my most awaited book of 2011 - Contentment.

Reading all those bullets above, I just have to ask, is your head spinning?
It is now! Wow. It has been a wild ride, and I’ve been terribly lucky. I have a fantastic support network of family and friends who have been incredible. My publisher, editor, and all of my fellow Turquoise Morning Press authors are amazing. And, the readers have been... I’m a writer and I don’t even have the word. Stupendous! Will that do? The readers have been stupendous.  I don’t know what I would have done without you all.

What does your family think of this past year activities?
They’re all very excited. My hubby has morphed into a one-man promo machine and the kids think it’s pretty cool to see my name on the covers. My siblings, nieces, and nephews are legion and very vocal - particularly when they’re calling me a smut-monger. Affectionately, of course. My mom is particularly excited for Contentment’s release because it’s not as ‘risqué’ as Paramour.

Ok let’s talk about Contentment. How beautiful is that cover?
You should have heard the epic SQUEEEE when I opened the attachment. Isn’t it gorgeous? Dara England was the graphic artist for this one and I think she hit it out of the park.

When I first read your caption “Have you ever asked yourself, “Is this all there is?” I immediately felt a connection. Being an avid romance reader, I always read about the happily ever after. Sometimes I ask myself under my breath, ‘yeah I wonder how John and Jane will feel about each after 15 years of marriage’ and that’s exactly where Contentment takes us. It reads so real to life right down to the piles of laundry. What made you decide to write a story about a couple who are in the thick of the whole marriage and family thing?
I’m living it. So are all my friends. The more I talked about the concept of this book, the more open the dialogue became and a few universal themes popped.
I think everyone asks themselves ‘Is this all there is?” at some point. It’s not a gender-specific question. We’re conditioned to want more.
I’d say that most of us are in a different place in our lives than we envisioned five, ten, or fifteen years ago. That doesn’t necessarily mean that the choices we’ve made were bad choices. It’s just that when you’re facing your never-ending laundry basket, juggling carpool schedules, and wondering when the body reflected in the mirror became your mother’s,  it’s easier to get lost in the disappointments than rejoice in the triumphs. That’s what has happened to Tracy Sullivan.

Married women around the world are going to relate to Tracy Sullivan yet at the same time when they read Contentment they won’t necessarily agree with her treatment of her husband, Sean.   What was your biggest challenge in creating these characters?
I think the biggest challenge was to remember that there’s rarely a clear-cut hero or villain in any marriage. There are certainly times in this book when one character comes off far more sympathetic than the other. I will admit to finding Tracy a little whiny and spoiled at times, but I also understood exactly where she was coming from. With Sean, I waxed and waned between wanting to run away with him and the urge to punch him in the mouth. It takes two, and these two certainly provided me with plenty of fodder.

With the internet being so popular for dating sites, new friendships forming over Twitter, people connecting through Facebook, I loved that you had a internet connection for Tracy. Being a blogger you hope to have people like your work and comment on your posts, so I thought it was really creative to have your character reach out to someone she doesn’t know. How did this come about?
I think it just evolved from the thought that many married couples seek some form of escape from one another. In this case it’s a little extreme, but there are layers to that.
Our everyday lives are so steeped in media it seemed like a natural fit. And it evolved along the way. Tracy finds a little solace from her troubles in a television show. When that show leaves her hanging, she searches the internet for more and finds a world she didn’t know existed.
For Tracy, and for so many of us, there’s safety in the anonymity of the online world, but also comfort in knowing there are people who share her feelings. What started as an escape from her battered hopes and dreams became her key to becoming the woman she wants to be. One of the biggest steps she takes to reclaim her life, Tracy takes online. I love it when a story comes full-circle.

Anything else you want us to know about Contentment?
My husband would like me to make it clear that this story is not based on our marriage. LOL Seriously, I love this story, and I’m so honored that Turquoise Morning Press chose Contentment to launch the After Happily Ever line. I think the love stories that come after we say ‘I do’ can be just as compelling as that first rush of falling in love, and I hope the readers do too!
Thanks so much for your interest. I hope you enjoy Contentment!

Cowboy to the Core by Joanna Wayne

Cowboy to the Core

By Joanna Wayne

Book Blurb:
As a former navy SEAL, Marcus Abbot relied on his instincts. And the moment he saw the shadows haunting Dani Baxter's big brown eyes, the private investigator knew she was in trouble…and so was he. Even though she came to him with a crazy story about a murder she'd seen in a vision, he couldn't stop the instantaneous attraction that sparked between them.
Never one to ignore a woman in need, he accepted her case. But as they traveled down a sensual path of danger and desire, Marcus discovered Dani's dreams may have been a bit too real. And the closer he got to the truth, the nearer she came to living her nightmare….

After years of reading romance novels I am almost ashamed to admit this truth but Cowboy to the Core is my very first official Harlequin Intrigue Romance. I know I know! How can a woman who loves the romance genre get by and never pick up a Harlequin Romance novel. Well a Harlequin virgin no longer. The proverbial cherry has been popped!

Cowboy to the Core is a compact little paperback with only 213 pages so it was nice easy read for a warm sunny afternoon. I sat on my patio sipping Coke with ice and read through the book in an afternoon. Of course that’s with me running in and out of the house to change laundry, updating Twitter and refereeing a few of my kid’s arguments.

Marcus Abbot was a great male lead. He wasn’t an alpha male and he wasn’t beta male. He had tendencies on both sides of the fence which seemed like a good match for the female lead Dani Baxter.

Reading Cowboy to the Core was great timing because with all the talk about SEALS, I wanted to read a sexy romance that had a SEAL in it. Well this book had both the former SEAL and a Cowboy. What a combo right? *grins*

The Intrigue line at Harlequin is the Romance Suspense line. Cowboy to the Core had a little bit of a mystery but it wasn’t angsty or very suspensful. It flowed nice and easy and there really weren’t any big surprises or breathtaking moments.

The love scenes were light and not overly heated. Cowboy to the Core was only written in 2009 so I was a bit surprise there was no mention of a condom. Dani was divorced and hadn’t been with a man for a long time so it was a bit surprising to have the author skip over that conversation.

Branded by Fire by Nalini Singh

Branded by Fire (Psy-Changelings, Book 6)Riley and Mercy’s book

Branded by Fire (Psy-Changelings, Book 6)

By Nalini Singh

Book Blurb:
When a brilliant changeling researcher is kidnapped, DarkRiver sentinel Mercy, a cat, and SnowDancer lieutenant Riley, a wolf, must work together to track the young man-before his shadowy captors decide he's no longer useful. Along the way, the two dominants may find that submitting to one another uncovers not just a deadly conspiracy, but a passion so raw that it'll leave them both branded by fire.

Branded by Fire had answered a long time question for me. What would happen if two alphas collided together as a couple? I have read a ton of romance books and usually the couple formula is one dominate and the other is a submissive. “Branded by Fire” added to the intensity of the Phy-Changeling series by not only mating a wolf with a leopard but also an alpha with an alpha. The result was constant conflict, heads butting and the reader constantly taking sides. One minute I was all, “Come on Mercy give him a break. Let it go girl.” And the next I was, “Oh my God Riley you male chauvinistic wolf chill out.”

What I love about Branded by Fire is that Nalini Singh answered so many questions a reader would have about this odd potential mating. I love that she didn’t think the readers wouldn’t question how, why, where and when. I like it when an author knows her readers are smart.

So what would happen if a wolf mated with a leopard? How would they live together when both are an intricate part of each other’s packs? Could they mate? What would result? Cubs, pups, babies? How would their mind nets function? Would they all be joined as one big net now? See all these questions I had? I am so pleased to say, they all get answered!

I found Branded by Fire introduced a lot more characters and I admit it, I was getting confused. You have Mercy’s 3 brothers, the two alphas that were sent by Mercy’s grandmother, a bunch of new younglings from each of the packs, the Human Alliance characters and now at the end of the book, a bird changeling Adam.  I had to stop and pause often to remember who was who.

Once again I was pleased to read about the previous characters. Sascha and Lucas have good news this book and I am very interested in the storyline regarding Sascha’s further developing E-Phy ability. I love the little snippet as to what's up and coming regarding Judd’s niece Sienna’s abilities (not to mention the Hawke connection there) and oh this Phy council has my head spinning. So much to love in this book. I also think of all the books, this one had the most sex. Riley and Mercy had such powerful emotions towards each other and they were either conflicting or having sex the entire book. The minute Mercy finally accepted their mating bond, it was beautifully written and captured their moment perfectly.

Guilty Pleasure #5 - My love of Tshirts

There are a few other bloggers that are doing these Guilty Pleasure posts as well. It all started with C.J. Duggan and if you want a bunch of smiles, circle back to her site and see the comments to read other pleasures.

This week's Guilty Pleasure is brought to you by the letter T. T for T-shirts. Oh how I love Tshirts and all their funny sayings & graphics. Some of my Tshirts hold great memories for me. Lets take a peak at some of my favourites.

This one is probably my favourite Tshirt. It is well worn let me tell you. It's so soft. I just love to wear it out in public and have people approach me. I get two types of people approach me when I wear this Tshirt. I get the Jamie-Fraser-Outlander-Diana- Gabaldon- fans cross shopping isles just to talk to me and ask me where they can get the Tshirt and then those that just want to know 1st, how to say Sassenach and 2nd, what does it mean? It is a great conversation Tshirt.

This is my Gilmore Girls Tshirt collection. I actually have 2 more Tshirts then what is above but they were in the laundry. I love Gilmore Girls and I wear these Tshirts ALOT. The most worn above is my "Reading is Sexy" , "DragonFly Inn" and the "Luke's Diner" Tshirt. No maybe it's my "I am Cathy Coffee mister, the bastard offspring of Mrs. Foldgers and Juan Valdez" because it is my night shirt. But then again, my "Hanging with My Gnomies" is red. Oh I don't know! I wear them all.

Here's my vintage Tshirts. Yes that is my original Bon Jovi Tshirt from the 80's "Slippery When Wet" concert tour. It is so worn that you can almost see through it. But I can't part with it ever.

I call this grouping my vacation Tshirts. I have NY, LA, Charleston, Washington, Venice Beach and South Carolina above. I also collect a sweatshirt from each of the US States I visit which is a much larger collection but since this post is all about Tshirts, I will not sway.

Above is another great conversation Tshirt. Castle fans can identify this sweet Tshirt from afar.

This is one of those Tshirts that have special meaning. Great memories behind this Tshirt and I have the karaoke video to prove it. Lets just say my karaoke rendition of "My Life Would Suck Without You" and this Tshirt go hand in hand. I wasn't even drunk.

Lastly, because this post could honestly go on and on. (I didn't even post my Buffy/Angel collection) I got this above Tshirt made with my Blog site printed on the front and took it to my very first Readers/Writers conference in early June 2011. I got some of my favourite authors & authors that I have reviewed their books to sign it. I will now carry this baby to every conference/book signing I go to. I hope to get Diana Gabaldon to sign it in August.

Ok so share with me, what is your favourite Tshirt and what's the story behind why it is your favourite?

Hostage to Pleasure by Nalini Singh

Hostage to Pleasure (Psy-Changelings, Book 5)Dorian and Ashaya’s book

Hostage to Pleasure (Psy-Changelings, Book 5)

By Nalini Singh

Book Blurb:
Ashaya Aleine was separated from her son, forced to create a neural implant that will forever enslave her psychically gifted Psy race. After fighting a desperate battle to save her child and escape the PsyNet, she's lead not to safety, but into the lethal danger of a sniper's embrace.

You know if you asked me what my favourite Phy-Changeling book was so far, I’d be at a loss. How can Nalini Singh keep writing these stories with such passionate, interesting and addicting storylines? It is a wonderful and wondrous thing. Hostage to Pleasure was excellent.

I like Dorian. Next to Vaughn he is (so far) my favourite Changeling. I love his flirty charm, his over achieving personality and I liked that he was a little flawed by not being able to change into his leopard. When Dorian rescues Ashaya’s Phy son Keenan and the child latches on to Dorian, that pretty much sealed the deal with my love of Dorian. These males make me smile how possessive they are with their mates. Even if it's their best friends, they give the attitude.

Ashaya’s M-Phy ability was very interesting. She is certainly a different woman when we first met her and she was under the cover of “Silence”. Even though she rescued Jon and Noor is the last book, “Mine toPossess”, she was so cold and unfeeling. What a journey she had to go through to rid herself of Silence. Her twin sociopath sister Amara is going to make for a very interesting storyline. I have no idea what Nalini plans to do with Amara. What a great addition to the already pulse pumping story.

There are also a few more groups of villains added to the mix. You have the Pure Phy which reeks of Nazi mentality and the Human Alliance which at this point is quite secretive. Oh this story just gets better and better.

I find it difficult to give too many details of the book plot and storyline because ever since the first book Slave to Sensation, it has been one big continuous story. It just gets more and more detailed and interwoven. These are not stand alone books. At least I can’t image picking one up in the middle of the series without having the back story. For that reason I struggle to provide the juicy details to convince a reader to pick up a book and try it. All I can say is based upon the fact I am STILL giving straight 5’s, it is awesome.

Mine to Possess by Nalini Singh

Mine to Possess (Psy-Changelings, Book 4)Clay and Talin’s book
Mine to Possess (Psy-Changelings, Book 4)

By Nalini Singh

Book Blurb:
Nalini Singh pulls away another dark layer of sheer desire, revealing passions unknown in her latest novel about the world of the Psy.

A woman returns from a leopard changeling's past, making him question his base animal instincts-and unlock the darkest secrets of his heart.

Mine to Possess was the 4th instalment of the Phy-Changeling series. What a joy to continuously grant 5 perfect stars on a series and what a blast it is to read each book one after another. I am probably going to go into serious withdrawal after the last book. I call that my “Outlander Syndrome”

I love being introduced one at a time to each of these characters and their mates. Each book has such interesting storylines to captive me while I stay awake until all hours of the early morning. Yeah, I finished Mine to Possess this morning around 3:30AM and if you would believe it, I read the first few chapters of book 5, Hostage to Pleasure. Oh come on. I know you have done that too.

The angst level was escalated in Mine to Possess. Stories that involve abused children always pull at my heart strings and in Mine to Possess those heart string were stretched to their limit. My palms were sweaty and I was sad with the experimentation that some M-Phy were doing to the human children. I didn’t like that part of the story but what a better way to get the readers to truly hate the villains.

I am so pleased that I continue to enjoy the mated couples and their personalities. With romance books in general I really like stories where the male and female characters have an established past so Clay and Talin fell right into that territory for me. They both had such damaged unfair childhoods so it was a true joy to see them fall in love and finally seal their mated bond.

Mine to Possess set up the next book Hostage to Pleasure perfectly so you’ll have to excuse me while I go and continue where I left off this morning.

Smokin Seventeen by Janet Evanovich

Smokin' Seventeen: A Stephanie Plum Novel
Smokin Seventeen

By Janet Evanovich

Book Blurb:
Where there's smoke there's fire, and no one knows this better than New Jersey bounty hunter, Stephanie Plum. The bail bonds office has burned to the ground, and bodies are turning up in the empty construction lot.  To make matters worse, Stephanie is working out of a motor home she shares with a dancing bear, and Joe Morelli's old world grandmother has declared a vendetta against her.  And just when Stephanie decides it might be time to choose between the two men in her life, Morelli and Ranger, a third man from Stephanie's past moves back to Trenton...

Smokin Seventeen was better than I thought it was going to be. Well now that’s just a sad way to start isn’t it? Well let’s face it, since Fearless Fourteen I haven’t been loving this series like I used too. I am still committed to the series but what made me addicted to the early books kind of went wayside. I always loved the giggles and out right laughs but the last few books was getting too whimsical for me. I was really hoping that Wicked Appetite would draw that away from the Stephanie Plum series so that Janet Evanovich could return to the series her fans love.

Thank goodness I think it worked. I really liked Smokin Seventeen. I wanted to read it all in one sitting but as usual real life got in the way so I had to pick it up and read it in bits. But that’s ok. Seriously it was. I was sitting in the doctor's waiting room giggling my ass off. So much so that I had to ask the receptionist for a tissue to dab my eyes. Oh Lula you kill me! Lula was perfect in this book. Not too much crazy but the perfect balance of a scene stealer to a scene mover. It was great.

Since the book was just released on Tuesday I don’t want to give too many spoilers. So let me just say, “Go Vordo!!” and leave it at that…..Ok I can’t do that to you. Vordo is like the next level of Grandma Bella’s “the eye” and it made Stephanie’s libido very active. Wooooot Hoooot! Ok now I’ll back off with the spoilers.

Smokin Seventeen not a difficult mystery and not as deep as her early books *sigh I miss those deeper mysteries* but it was still a very enjoyable read. I will for sure re-read it sometime and I love the “I heart Morelli” and the “I heart Ranger” stickers that came with the hardcover book. I will not hesitate one moment adding “Explosive Eighteen” to my TBR list for November 22, 2011 release!

Wicked Burn by Beth Kery

Wicked Burn Vic and Niall's book

Wicked Burn

By Beth Kery
Guest Reviewer: Julie Doner

Book blurb: He wanted all of her…
Vic Savian knows what he wants when he sees it. And what he wants is his sexy neighbor, Niall Chandler. When he finds her in the hallways of their building being harassed by an aggressive suitor, Vic steps in—and finds himself greatly rewarded…

And did she ever let him have it…

Sleeping with her gorgeous neighbor—when she didn’t even know his last name—is the craziest thing Niall’s ever done. Now, she can’t seem to get enough of Vic—or the uninhibited passion he stirs in her. Suddenly, with his help, she’s experiencing sensual pleasures she’s never known before. But when Niall’s past comes back to haunt her, will she and Vic let themselves venture beyond the bedroom and explore the possibility of love that’s in their hearts?

Wicked Burn is one of the best books I’ve ever read and here’s why . . . It’s about real characters who face real issues in their lives. They have baggage. Things aren’t perfect. There’s grief and guilt and pain swirling around them. But there’s also hope.

Niall Chandler lives in an apartment across the hall from the gorgeous, mysterious Vic Savian. After several silent, sexually-charged encounters between the two, they’re finally forced to start talking when Vic saves her from a date-gone-wrong in the hallway. And everything changes in an instant.

The spark between them ignites into a burning flame of passion. In the warmth of his bed and his embrace, Niall is reborn. He burns her to life.

Their romance quickly blossoms into something neither expected. Vic is a slave to her captivating eyes, her slender figure, and her sophisticated pearls, and Niall is seduced by Vic’s intelligence, sexiness, and uninhibited ardor in the bedroom. Weeks of wild lovemaking turn into months. But there are secrets.

Countless nights Niall wakes up from a nightmare so raw it shakes her to the bone. Vic eventually discovers the source and he shuts her out of his life without a second thought, without knowing the full story. He hides away in his farmhouse, desperate to work her out of his system.

One of the huge selling features of  Wicked Burn are the minor characters. They all have such depth and purpose in the story. Some also play a significant role in reuniting our favourite couple, and that’s always a good thing. I just want to touch on the character, Stephen, briefly as well. I won’t go into detail about the role he plays because it’s quite pivotal, but I will say that he is a character with severe mental illness, and he’s written brilliantly. He’ll terrify you, and you’ll pity him.

It takes time, but Niall slowly begins to recover from her past life and is determined to make Vic a part of her present one. With the help of his sister, Meg, Niall winds up in Vic’s backyard. It takes a horse, a heaping helping of honesty, and a prayer to bring them back together, but somehow it happens. And thank God, ‘cause I love my happy endings.

A few last things to note: you will never look at pearls the same way again, and you will immediately enroll in horseback riding school after reading Wicked Burn. The sex is sinfully good, but what makes this book outstanding are the characters and their realness. I can’t say it enough. If you do one good thing this year, buy this book!

Interview & ebook giveaway with Madison J Edwards

Another Look Book Reviews is super excited to bring you an interview and an erotic ebook giveaway for author Madison J Edwards.
Madison, tell us a little bit about you.
The Prairie dust is in my blood, but no longer on my shoes.
I was born and raised in small town Saskatchewan that boasts a grand population of 1200. A few years after high school I moved south, and met my husband stationed at a nearby Air Force Base. For the next fifteen years we zigzagged across Canada before settling in London, Ontario.
‘According to Plan’, my debut novel, releases July 2011 with Turquoise Morning Press.  I have three short stories published with Sapphire Nights Books.
Check out my blog -Maddie’s Place - www.madisonedwards.blogspot.com and you can follow me on Twitter - @MadisonJEdwards

Congratulations for “THE PERFECT SECRETARY” being in the Amazon - Top 100 list and  for the multitude of 5 star ratings all over the internet. (Including Another Look Book Reviews here)
Can I just say I love your pen name? It is so classy. Sometimes erotic authors tend to make their pen names sound like strippers and that actually turns me off. It makes me think reading erotica is dirty when it is not. However a classy name like Madison J Edwards is wonderful. Is there a story behind on how you came upon that great name?
I’d been toying with pen names, and at one time I thought I’d publish under the name of Paige Turner (tongue in cheek), but I wanted to be taken seriously as an author so into the slush pile it went. Nothing jumped out, until I was reading something from Margaret Ethridge. The tease in me loved the idea that her initials were M.E., and being somewhat narcissistic, I wanted it to be all about ‘ME’ too. So Madison Edwards was born. The initial J. helped round the moniker out. All three look great on luggage tags.

Two of your erotic stories, “The Perfect Secretary”, and your new release “The Invitation” are BDSM based. What sort of research did you do to get yourself into that frame of mind?
Ha. My husband will tell you emphatically I didn’t do research with him.
The classic boss/secretary lends itself to a little dominance, and the idea had been bouncing around in my head for a dark paranormal where the immortal hero invades the heroine’s dreams, and sees her engaging in a little BDSM fantasy.  Naturally I stole from myself for this story, and now I’ll have to write something else for Dark Desires.
When I realized I wanted to continue the story of Ms. Adams and Mr. Reid, I knew I had to look into the BDSM world a little more, so I bought a couple of books in this genre, and picked the brain of Christine D’Abo, fellow author in my local chapter.
This genre fascinates me. I think all of us have with varying degrees a little submissive or dominance in our psyche. The difference being, I pushed the envelope further than what most people would actually partake, and allowed the reader to indulge in a little fantasy, if only in their mind.

I love the SapphireNights Dirty Bits. They are short and inexpensive. I love that the Dirty Bits share the same beautiful cover. Do you think it’s harder to get publicity on erotic books or easier or even is it different at all?
I don’t know if it’s harder or not. Anyone who wants to buy erotic knows where to find these stories. My publisher would tell you, the first two weeks The Perfect Secretary was released; I was cruising in the Caribbean and didn’t touch a computer for over two weeks.
Having said that, I believe it can be harder, because these erotic novellas will never see the shelves of your classic bookstore. The tried and true method of picking up a book, checking out the back cover, and then flipping to Chapter One to read a few pages is not an option. But readers of e-novellas are very internet savvy, so I think blog tours are a good way to get your name out, and create a buzz.
I like the idea of posting snippets on your own web page, to tease the reader a bit. I plan on posting deleted scenes from According to Plan when it releases.

Do you have a favourite erotic author?
Lila DiPasqua – hands down. You will never read fairy tales the same. Ever!

What are you reading right now?
Right now, I’m knee deep in edits for According to Plan, but prior to this I read the first two books in Nalini Singh’s, Psy-Changling books.

What question didn’t I ask you that you were hoping I didn’t ask?
You didn’t ask. I’m okay with that.

Who is your book boyfriend?
Adam Black – the Dark Fae Prince from Karen Marie Moning’s Immortal Highlander. He makes my heart sigh.

If you could visit any country in the world for free, where would you go and why?
Germany. My last trip there was too short, and I want to explore the castles, and walk where so much history played out. From the Romans to the Nazi’s, the air reverberates with whispers from our ancestors.
However, if I could have the dream vacation, where money was no object, I’d go to the French Polynesian islands. I’m a lover of peace and quiet, and it calls to me on a visceral level.

Every Wednesday I do a post sharing what is my Guilty Pleasure. What is yours?
The Casino. I love the penny slots. Shhh….. Don’t tell my husband. It will be our secret.
