What I'm Reading this Week

Last week I made a post asking for new book series suggestions. I really wanted to sink my teeth into another series that would grab ahold of me and take me away to my little fantasy world. You see I had recently finished the Fever series by Karen Marie Moning and loved it. I sooo loved it.

Anyhow, an overwhelming result of votes came back to Larrisa Ione's Demonica Series. So I went out and used my gift card and bought the entire series.

I haven't started yet. I had planned to but with all the Karen Marie Moning news about a movie deal with Dreamworks, I decided to re-read the Fever series. I am so glad I did because I was in such a hurry last time that there were things I missed and then there are things that make so much more sense now. I am just over half way on ShadowFever and I am equally loving it as much as I did the first time around. I just love when a series does that to you. Don't you?

Do you have a favourite series that you look forward to re-reading?

  1. Oh fun! You'll enjoy them. I personally loved them all. But, I've heard some people who didn't like the first one as much so keep reading even if you don't love that one. I hope you enjoy them though! :)

  2. I loved this series, just one advice, if you don't like at first, just give it a chance, I put it down the first time I read it Lover Unbound, but I decided to give it a chance, and it's now one of my favorite series, I loved the fever series too, loved reading and listening to both of these series.
    Have a good one.

  3. Lots of people saying that about the first book. I'm only on page 37 so far. Lots of characters introduced quickly so I am trying to get my head wrapped around that but I like it so far.
    Thanks guys!

  4. I reread the Dark-Hunter books from time to time. A reader just piqued my interest in Feehan the other day and I must say, I'm looking forward to rereading a few of hers.

I'll be interested to hear what you think of the Demonica books. Admittedly I didn't finish the first book. I put it down too many times. Perhaps I'd enjoy another though? Maybe your readers have a favorite I could try.

  5. I look forward to what you think of the Demonica series. I have them on my shelf but haven't read them yet.

Gosh! I think I could re-read Richelle Meads Succubus Blues series, I just adore the characters. Also Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins as soon as I finished reading it, I could have picked it up and starting reading it again straight away. Very rare for. :)

How exciting is it about the Fever series! Did you here KMM is going to write a spin off and more about Mac and Barrons?....Squuuueeeee.

  6. Re-reading the Fever series is important. I've read the books at least twice except for Shadowfever. I've only read that one once and I KNOW there is a bunch of stuff I missed.

And I can't wait for you to dig into the Demonica series. Larissa Ione writes one of the best worlds I've read in PNR! Great stuff. And h.o.t. ;)
