OMG. You had soooo better pick me. I introduced you to James Alexander Malcom McKenzie Fraser, and I demand recompense! Okay, maybe not demand, but I will cross my fingers and toes. My favorite Jamie scene? Too many to choose. The scene in the hot springs bath at the abbey in France always gets me. I think it's because it's kind of a baptism and rebirth for Jamie & Claire's relationship. I leave it to you, Sassenach, to imagine what it feels like to arrive unexpectedly in the midst of a brothel, in possession of a verra large sausage...
ReplyDeleteIt has been so long since I have read these books that I simply cannot remember. I read them as they originally came out until Echo in the Bone...
ReplyDeleteThank you for the giveaway.
i havent's hear about this serie, but sound awesome!

I have all of the books and I've read them. It's all my favorite. The love story is one of the best I've read. Donna

I'm hopping too. Hope you'll stop by and enter on my page.
Ooooooh, I love this man :) But I can't choose one. Everything about him in relation to and with Claire would be my best. I vaguely remember a scene when they are in their USA mountain home and they are in bed and he tells her after she asks if there is any one thing he would regret if he was going to die and he answers that it would be that he couldn't tell her he loved her. God, I cried and I know it's not an accurate accounting but it was close to that. :)Thanks so much for this giveaway opportunity. Love Lord John. :)

ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway opportunity.
Oh man, I have lots of favorite scenes. I think one that comes to mind is when Claire is showing Jamie the sperm under the microscope and first he asks her how she got them, and then asks her to give them a proper burial. So funny.
ReplyDeletei have not yet read the series. Thank you for the giveaway!

I've only read the first book, but WOW! I so love Jamie. I'm not sure I have a favourite scene, but I remember this bit I liked where he told Claire that he knew she couldn't have kids but still wanted to stay with her, or something. But basically any of the bits were he was being sweet, or just any with him in it XD
ReplyDeleteI have to admit that I have not read any of Diana Gabaldon's books. I have heard a lot of good things about Outlander though.

ReplyDeleteFrom LH- This is for my entry as for the SP Giveaway. THe Rafflecopter would not let me enter my comment on that form. Anyways. . . My favorite JF moment is in Voyager when he & Claire reunite in the print shop and he falls into the alepot. . . because discovering later on all that he was not telling Claire at their reunion makes that scene even more interesting!
