Have you noticed in the past little while it is increasingly becoming difficult to search out erotic romance books on Amazon? I sure have. Even typing in the author's name and book title sometimes does not result in a positive search. Well today one of my favourite erotic authors, Claire Thompson, made a post on her Facebook asking people to share the following information. Perhaps this may help?
Amazon is on a mission to flag adult content and keep it out of the general audience search engines.
What it means to you is that you will not see any adult material in your search -- UNLESS you enable your account for adult content. Which means titles by MLR, Dreamspinner, Totally Bound, eXtasy, Amber Allure and all the other publishers that you love won't show up unless you tweak your account.
Here's how to do it:
Select Kindle Store in the search drop down. Search for the title of an adult book (example:Cuffed by Megan Slayer). You'll receive the following message:
"Your search contains adult items which have been hidden. If you wish to see them, click here."
Once you enable adult content on your computer, all the books will show up again.
If you're using a browser cleaner, you'll need to tell it to leave Amazon's cookies alone, or repeat this process each time it runs.
Pass this on so everyone learns about it. Wouldn't want you to miss out on a new title from your favorite author.

Oh, wow! I didn't know this! I don't use the search often, but I'll definitely need to check my settings.
Thanks!
Interesting, I didn't realize Amazon had started doing this. Off to change my settings :P
