Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
- Grab your current read
- Open to a random page
- Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
- BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
- Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
by Lynsay Sands
"My lady, did your husband share your bed on your wedding night?"
"Oh, aye." Emma smiled her relief. She had been consummated. "Aye. His men undressed him and put him there, my lord. He made quite a racket, I can tell you. I thought his snore would lift the roof."
Very humourous book. I like that proceeds to go to Ovarian Cancer research.
Too funny! We both chose Kiss & Teal books with humorous teasers by authors we each want to try! Sands has been on my list forever. Thanks for stopping by today. I'm hosting an international giveaway for A Night to Remember, so stop by tomorrow to enter!
Sounds like it could be a humorous read, yes! I like the sound of it. Great teaser! Thanks for stopping by. :)
That one made me LOL :) Definitely sounds humorous! And I really love books that are set in that sort of time frame. Love the teaser!
Thank you for stopping by mine as well!
Hi Michelle! Thanks for stopping by my teaser. I too look forward to your Teaser Tuesdays.
I've read Lynsay Sands's latest historical series but haven't read any of her backlist. This book sounds hilarious though.
What great choices. I like the sound of this heroine. She's got a wicked sense of humor.
I haven't read anything by Lynsay Sands, but I might have to check this one out.
